Sheamus makes the tag and hits a rolling senton as he makes the tag to Cesaro. Sheamus hits a clothesline from the outside as the referee was distracted. Cesaro and Kofi trade monkey flips and land on their feet. Cesaro directly with a running drop kick and cover. Kofi and Big E are the pair for the champs tonight. The challengers make their entrance as we're introduced to some of the announce teams, and here we go. Big E makes a comparison between Roadblock and well.another type of block. We're LIVE and the announce team welcomes us to the show as New Day is introduced. We go live with the main card right after this. The Kickoff panel talks about the Universal Championship match before throwing it to a video package. Big Cass is a bit too late and gets counted out. Lana shoves Enzo and then fakes an injury, leading to Rusev with a drive-by. Rusev hits a cheap shot and heads back in. Rusev, apparently scared of the big man, takes off into the crowd. Cass goes for the big boot, but Rusev steers clear. Big splash to the corner and Rusev regroups once again. Cass catches a Rusev kick, hits a slam, and lands the Empire Elbow. Cole lets us know this is Cass' first PPV singles match. Cass still with the advantage as Rusev tries to retreat. They lock up and Cass gets the upper hand early as we go directly do a commercial break. Enzo the red nosed reindeer and Santa Clause go through the reindeer with the 'how you doin'' treatment. Enzo and Cass reveal a little holiday spirit. Enzo rips on Rusev's decision making and goes with some puns and comparisons. They do their routine and brand new 'Enzo Hair' merch piece. Enzo now has a case for his leopard print microphone. Huge pop for Enzo and Cass as they make their entrance. Michael Cole, Byron Saxton, and Corey Graves are on the call as Lana makes her entrance and introduces her husband, Rusev. The panel pokes a bit of fun at Enzo's expectations on the encounter. Perkins says he beat two opponents to become the first Cruiserweight Champion, and he will do it again tonight. TJ Perkins joins the Kickoff panel ahead of the triple threat Cruiserweight Title match alongside current champ Rich Swann and Brian Kendrick. Triple H says he hopes for this to be a launching pad for a weekly WWE program based in the UK. Nigel McGuinness was announced as a new commentator for this event. This will be a two-night special event on the WWE Network. We get our first look at the press conference from across the pond as WWE introduced the United Kingdom Championship. He thanks Phillips and heads out to prepare for his match. Zayn says he won't stay down in this match. Zayn says he's different than anyone that's faced Braun, and that Strowman should be strategizing for him. He's asked if there's any fear of stepping in the ring with Braun. We head back to the Social Media Lounge with Tom Phillips and Sami Zayn. This led to a fiery Zayn promo and RAW GM Mick Foley giving him the match. This included a mock trade to SmackDown Live for Eva Marie.
